The Orioles fell at home to the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday 7-5 and come into Thursday losers of two of their last three. This mini-slump comes on the heels of a stretch where they won 12 of 14 games and have one tie. They have been playing the best of any team in spring training as they look to defend their AL East crown this year. This will be the fifth time the two teams have played each other this spring and the Orioles have won each of the first four.

The Pirates will be looking to finally get that first victory over the Orioles when they hit the field on Thursday.

The Pirates, though, have been slumping as they come into Thursday having lost four of their last five games. The slide has dropped their spring record to 7-11.

Wednesday they went on the road and lost to the Toronto Blue Jays 10-3. They did get nine hits in the game, but didn't score until the sixth and then managed just a single run in each of the next three innings.
